Advocates for Disabled American Veterans

The disability lawyers at WOLF AND BROWN L.L.C. serve disabled American veterans and help them get disability benefits from the Veterans' Administration (VA). We assist disabled veterans from the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and other branches of the U.S. military. Our offices are conveniently located near Fort Dix, McGuire Air Force Base, and Lakehurst Naval Air Station.

We will learn the facts of your case and work to prove that your existing medical condition is a result of an accident, injury or other incident during your military service. Contact us today for a free initial consultation to discuss your disabled veteran benefit claim.

The Claim Process for Disabled Veteran Benefits

The general process and important deadlines are as follows:

  • Vet submits written claim to his or her Regional Office for Department of Veterans' Affairs.
  • Regional Office sends a letter stating claim acceptance or denial.
  • Veteran must mail Notice of Disagreement within one year of receiving denial. This is the first step of administrative appeal.
  • Regional Office will review claim file and mail Statement of the Case, which must include reasons for the claim denial.
  • Veteran must fill out and submit VA Form 9 within 60 days of receiving Statement of the Case. This is the second step of the appeal.
  • Claim is sent to Board of Veterans' Appeals. If decision is unfavorable, vet must file Notice of Appeal to the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims within 120 days of receiving decision.

If you miss any of these deadlines in appealing a denied claim, you will not be eligible to receive disabled veteran benefits from the VA. The veterans' benefits lawyers at WOLF AND BROWN L.L.C. can help you fully understand this process. We can help ensure you don't miss the deadlines so you can get the disability benefits you need and deserve.

Dedication and Unique Insight

Attorney Mike Brown can help you file a claim or appeal the denied claim to get you the disabled veteran benefits you need. Mr. Brown is a member of the National Organization of Veterans Advocates (NOVA), and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. More importantly, Mr. Brown is a committed advocate for disabled veterans:

"You are getting the run-around by the VA, and I am personally offended by the way that vets are being treated."

We can help you face the Veterans' Administration. If you have a medical condition related to your military service, you are eligible for disability benefits from the Veterans' Administration. A veteran spouse, other dependents, and vet survivors may also qualify for disabled veteran benefits: Contact us today to learn about your eligibility.

Nothing to Lose, Everything to Gain

Without an attorney who understands veteran disability compensation, the risk of claim denial is increased. The Veterans' Administration (VA) is often hesitant to agree that a condition is linked to military service. We can help you get disability benefits for medical conditions like Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), arthritis, diabetes caused by Agent Orange, and other disabling conditions.

We offer free initial consultations and handle disabled veteran benefit claims on a contingency basis. Contact the veterans' disability benefit lawyers at WOLF AND BROWN L.L.C. today.
